I decided to take a momentary break from Sunvox and started dabbling with PixiTracker. I discovered that the interface is well-suited for tablets, since you just tap once to pick one of the 16 sounds and tap again in a grid to position it. So I found myself composing nightly on a tablet. Nevertheless, the restrictions of just the 16 sounds became a tough but worthy challenge. I stuck to the default sound pack, but I ratcheted the BPM up to 160! I wanted to create a fast head-banging track. :-)
